We would like to Welcome all new members to our Florida World of Horseshoes. Also a Welcome back to our returning members and our snowbird friends.

Remember NHPA members that January 1, 2013 you need to have your 2013 NHPA Membership Card and be proud to show your new card at the tournaments that you go to especially in January and February.

It was brought to my attention that new members might be interested in how to get to our Florida Web Site, and to know what kind of information is there. First type in www.horseshoepitching.com and then make it one of your favorites. That is the NHPA web site with lots of information also, updated weekly on Wednesday evenings with NATSTATS averages. Just click on Statistics, then NATSTATS, then click on FL and find your name in alpha order. For more fun click on Statistics again, then Stat Search and click on Personal Natsearch, click on FL and in alpha order click your NHPA number by your name, and it will show you all the tournaments that you pitched in the last year with your tournament average.

To get to the Florida web site go to the NHPA web site, and arrow down on the front page and click on United States on the world map. This will bring you to the United States map by state, click on Florida and then make it one of your favorites. There will be a list of Florida Horseshoe Clubs, just click on any club and find out about their Club Officers and Tournaments. Then under the FL Clubs is a yellow banner, just double click on it and you will find lots of information updated weekly on Wednesday evenings, there will be the latest averages, committee members, printable Junior Scholarship request form and info, FL State Champions, FL Highest Averages, Members that have pitched in the most tournaments (New), Hall of Fame, Application Form, By-Laws, Newsletters and NATSTATS Averages. So check out the NHPA web site and the FL web site to keep up with the latest FL World of Horseshoes News.

We now have a place for your Email address on the Application Form and in the Florida Data Base. So if you would like to receive Emails regarding the Florida World of Horseshoe News, when you pay your dues for next year just put your Email address on the form. If you didn’t fill out the E-mail address on your 2013 renewal form and would like to receive Emails now regarding FL World of Horseshoe News just send me your Email address, and I will put you on the Membership E-mail List. My Email address is vwoollard@aol.com. We also receive NHPA important news that we forward to members.

We are looking for more Junior members. If you have any ideas or know anyone interested please let me or Eileen Fox know.
