4.       Comments by Jerry Michalek – moment of silence for Jerry Randal, Howard Tyo, Warren Woolsey; 50/50 tickets

a.       Comments from the President  thanks to all who helped including Joe Strong, Nancy Michalek and the kitchen crew, Lana Gerber and Becky Kibling Tshirt sales, data input Peg Currier and Louis Chipperfield; picking up score sheets Floyd Currier, Jerry Mitchell and Duane Raeburn and everyone else who pitched in

6.       Junior scholarship – Eileen Fox presented $1000 scholarship to Austin Hersey; John Reynolds Annual Memorial scholarship award Justin Maples $100; girls award to Meagan Polski $100

7.       Special annual awards

a.        Women’s High Ringer Percentage: Verdell Woollard 62.9%

b.      Most Improved Player 2009-2010: Tom Flaherty 16.5%

c.       Elders High Ringer Percentage: Tom Hall 69.7%

d.      Men’s High Ringer Percentage: Ron Deckard 63.2%

e.      Most Tournaments: Tom Hall 32 tournaments

f.        Player of the Year: Bob Marks, 3.88 average

g.       Appreciation to Byron Jarrett for 5 yrs service to executive council

h.      Appreciation to Joe West for tournament director Winter Haven for 35 years

i.         Appreciation to John Peplinski served on executive council for 15 years, last 10 as sec/treas, 5 years as VP

j.        Triple crown winners: Harold Newsome, Ron Deckard

k.       50 years in NHPA – Lee Wilcox

9.       Hall of fame members – recognized the ones present at banquet

10.   New hall of fame member – BJ Jarrett

11.   President Hilpertshauser announced that he will appoint someone to 2nd VP and asked for members to run for office

12.   Jim Smith reported that there was a computer problem with the name state champion contest. He will figure out the winner and send $50 prize to winner. Also, photos or the tournament will be posted on state tournament website http://fshpa.com/scws2010/photopage.htm)

13.   Closing comments –FSHPA searching for new Promotional Director and new Historian; St Cloud hosting 2011 state tournament; Bradenton hosting in 2012;  thanks to all for participating in the state tournament
