COMMENTS FROM FIRST VICE PRESIDENT
Congratulations to Pam Maples on repeating as Women’s State Champion, to Junior Girl’s State Champion Megan Polski, and Men State Champion, Ron Deckard, are also repeat winners. A congratulations to Junior Boy State Champion, Dylan Holmburg, and Elder’s State Champion, Tom Hall, and all the other State Class Winners. A Big Thanks to all that participated in the 2011 FSHPA Championship Tournament. I had a great time, even thou I didn’t pitch, it was quite a learning experience, and I had some very good teachers. I guess we call it on the Job training.
Congratulations to Vicki Marteney on earning the Player of The Year Award. Glenn Raines and Jim Smith were inducted into the FSHPA Hall of Fame, and Congrats to all the other award winners.
I would like to thank Dave Jagers of the St. Cloud Horseshoe Club and all the members for getting the courts in excellent shape, and all the running that goes with putting on a Tournament, and to all the people who volunteered, that made this Florida State Horseshoe Championship Tournament such a success.
Y’all have a good summer and I hope to see you all on the courts next season, (Pitching, I hope). For all that is going to the World, Good Luck.
Bob Marks
