COMMENTS FROM FIRST VP

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. We had a very successful State tournament congratulations to all the winners!  As you know Buddy Short was the member who pitched in most tournaments this year and Jane Schrantz was the winner from the Out of State participants.

While on vacation in Deerfield Beach Florida Rich Robinson and I stopped by and visited with Marty a member of the Lake Worth Horseshoe Club . We had a few games of horseshoes and I left some pamphlets on the game of horseshoes. Marty and a few of other members are trying to revitalize the club. It is a beautiful area located right on the canal in Lake Worth. If anyone happens to be on the East Coast of Florida visiting why not stop by and say hello.

I am looking forward to playing at my second World Tournament in Florence South Carolina. I am sure that I will see many of you there ! Good Luck and pitch well!

Not much more to report so until September and our tournaments start again ....
