Hello everyone,

Another successful year of pitching, I for one had lots of fun pitching at different clubs this year. I want to again thank Flagler County Horseshoe club for its superb work to make this years State Closed Tournament a resounding success. From my perspective it was a great event, everything went very well. I would like to thank the Executive council for all their hard work this year. Janet you will be missed on the council. I would also like to welcome Donnie to our council and look forward to working with you.

Please take time to visit some of the smaller clubs so they can keep hosting tournaments. I know for some it’s a longer drive but they need your support. I hope to make it to most of our clubs this upcoming season, if not all of them. At last count I saw eighteen pitchers from Florida that will be pitching in the world tournament this year in Wichita Falls, Texas. Vicki and I plan to be there for two weeks and look forward to keeping score and cheering you on to victory.

Please take some time this summer to reflect on how blessed we are; relax, spend some time with family. Vicki and I are spending a month at the beach, just being beach bums. It’s nice to just to relax, oh and there are courts here at Cocoa Beach so we are practicing some, getting ready for World in July/August. See you on the courts in Florida or in Texas.
