Comments from the Sec/Tres
This will be my last article for the newsletter. I have thoroughly enjoyed this position over the last ten
year’s. It has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. I have always strived to put the best
interest of the association first in all my decisions and would like to thank all of you for your support. I feel the
association will be in good hands with our new sec/tres Marcy Santoya.
I look forward to seeing all of you at this year’s state tournament. I encourage you to attend, as there will
be many extra’s for our 50 year celebration.
Good luck, good pitching and thanks for the memories.
John Peplinski Sec/Tres

VICE PRESIDENT’S REMARKS
It is now time to make final preparations for the State Closed Tournament in April. Please send in your entry
forms as soon as possible and make any necessary lodging reservations. Although the weather has not been
very cooperative to date, there should be opportunities for ample practice before the third week in April. I hope
to see you at
Thank you for electing me as a member of the Executive Council. I have, for the most part, enjoyed serving as
the 2nd Vice President. I have chosen not to seek reelection and I hope that an interested and qualified
replacement will step forward to fill my vacancy. In my opinion, the most important qualification for a
candidate to be elected to the EC is that he or she be able to set aside personal and home-club interests in
deference to the good of the FSHPA’s total membership. If we have members of the EC who cannot or will not
do this, harmony, effectiveness, and progress will be severely impeded.
I wish all of you good luck at the courts.
God bless
