The current Men’s State Champion is  Ron Deckad.  The current Women’s State Champion is Pam Maples.  The current Elder’s State Champion is Tom Hall.  The current Junior Boys State Champion is Dylan Holmberg.  The current Junior Girls State Champion is Megan Polski.  The current Men’s Doubles State Champions are Ron Deckard and James Hayden.  The current Women’s Doubles State Champions are Debbie Burrows and Verdell Woollard.  The current Elder’s Doubles State Champions are Robert Moulin and Tom Hall.  The current mixed distance Doubles State Champions are Don Chamberlain and Frank Cweklinski.  Vivki Marteney is the current  “Player of the year” based on in class tournament performance.

David Jagers has the highest pitching percentage of the 40-foot Men’s class of 61.9%.  Tom Hall has the highest pitching percentage of the Elder’s class of 78.3.  Shalee Cason has the highest pitching percentage of the Women’s class of 66.4%..  165 members have pitched in 5 or more tournaments in the last twelve months from a membership of 270. The average pitching percentage is 34.9.  Seventy four FSHPA Inc. sanctioned tournaments are scheduled this season.

The State Closed Championship Tournament will be held on April 18/19/20/21, 2012 at Bradenton.  Closing date for State Closed is April 1, 2012.  Participation in the State Closed Tournament is limited to Florida residents that have pitched in 5 or more FSHPA Inc. sanctioned tournaments or 4 FSHPA Inc. sanctioned tournaments and an NHPA sanctioned league; excluding the 2011 State Closed Championship Tournament, during the period of April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
