LET’S GET TOGETHER IN BRADENTON FOR

                               THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

The annual Friday night cocktail party/get together will be held at the Quality Inn, poolside.  The host Club will provide the snacks/finger food and the State Association will provide the cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks.  The party will start at 6:00 pm and conclude at 8:00 pm.  This party is always well attended and will be a fun time for all.   

The annual Awards Banquet will be held at the Peridia Golf and Country Club.  Directions to the Peridia and a map are included in this newsletter on the Quality Inn reservation page.  A cash bar will be open at 6:30 pm with the dinner being served at 7:30 pm. 

The annual Awards Presentation will be conducted at the conclusion of the dinner followed by the awarding of door prizes. 

The banquet choices are as follows:

Citrus Tilapia – Talapia filet lightly bronzed with Cajun seasoning, pan seared and finished with Citrus salsa

Chicken Piccata – Pan-seared breast of chicken finished with a white wine, butter, lemon caper sauce

Sirloin Cap Steak Marsala – Marinated grilled sirloin cap steak, sliced and finished with a marsala demi-glace with onions and mushrooms.

All entrees served with Caesar Salad, rolls and butter, roasted seasoned potatoes, buttered green beans, and coffee, tea, or iced tea.

Tickets for the banquet are $20.00 each for Chicken or Fish and $22 for Beef.  Your banquet menu selections will be ordered along with and paid for with your singles entry, as we must give the Peridia an accurate count of the number of meals for the banquet.

Many thanks to the Oak Bend Horseshoe Club for supporting the Junior Scholarship fund. Buddy Short sent a $90.00 check made out to the US Family Foundation Inc. to Eileen Fox in support of the junior fund. Thank you, to the club members and all who attended the tournament in support of the juniors. Everyone’s support is very much appreciated.

                                                   JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE

It is important that the juniors send their application form for The US Family Foundation Inc. $1,000.00 scholarship award to; Eileen Fox, 2450 SW 38th Ave. Lot 53, Ocala. FL 34474, so he/she can be entered in the drawing to win the scholarship award. Must be postmarked by March 31st. Applications forms will be sent out to each junior by Marvin Grubb.
