COMMENTS FROM THE THIRD VICE PRESIDENT

                                                             MARCH 2013

Since this will be my last newsletter article as Third Vice President, I would like to let everyone know that I truly enjoyed serving as your Florida Third Vice President.  It has been very educational and a great life experience.  I would like to thank everyone for your support, and thanks for the memories; we had lots of “Remember When’s”.

As I mentioned in the September Newsletter I will still be the Florida State Statistician and the Florida Communications Director, which are appointed positions and not part of Third Vice President position.  So I look forward to seeing many of you at this year’s Florida State Horseshoe Championships Tournament in Clearwater April 17-20, 2013.

It looks like April 1st, 2013 is the magic number to remember to get all your forms sent in, the Entry Forms for the State Tournament, Souvenir Shirt Pre-order Form and Lodging Reservation, except the Ad Book that date is prior to March 25, 2013.

If you would like to receive Emails now regarding FL Horseshoe News just send me your Email address, and I will put you on the Email List.  My Email address is vwoollard@aol.com.  We also receive NHPA important news that I forward to members.  Several E-mails have been returned stating that delivery status notification error, undeliverable.  So if you have given us your E-mail address on your application for renewal and have not been receiving E-mails from us, please send me your E-mail address by E-mail, and then I will know it is correct.  Just one letter or number off, and it will be returned undeliverable.  We now have approximately 150 E-mail addresses, which keeps our members informed on what is happening in our Florida World of Horseshoes.

Wish you all Good Luck and Lots of Ringers in the Horseshoe Tournaments that you attend this year.

Verdell Woollard (Dell)
