COMMENTS FROM 2ND VP
Well, we’ve had some cold tournaments the last month or so and some that got rained out too. Remember though to make sure you can get your five requirements for the State Closed. Please don’t wait ‘til the last minute in case for some reason a tournament is cancelled. Also, can you please be aware of your fellow pitchers that do not have website or computer access? Give them a buzz and find out if they’ve got their entry forms filled out and sent in (it might be it just slipped their mind too). Maybe you can make them a copy.
Dale and I pitched
at the Sebring tourney the day before the Club Team and it was good to see so
many of our snowbird pitchers again this year. We have many that come to the
Our Annual meeting is coming up and each club should try to send their representative to the meeting. If the President can’t attend he should notify the Secretary-Treasurer and indicate who will be representing the club in April. My position of 2nd VP is up for re-election and there have not been any declared candidates. I consider it a privilege to continue to serve our membership in this capacity.

ARTICLE IX – CLUBS
Section 6. The Club Tournament Director shall:
Paragraph a. reads: Submit to
FSHPA Inc. Secretary-Treasurer a proposed schedule of tournaments, entry fees,
for the ensuing season.
Change to read: Submit to the
State Statistician a proposed
schedule of tournaments, entry fees, for the ensuing season.
Reason: the State
Statistician has been handling this duty for the past eight years and the By
Laws should reflect the change of duties from Sec/Treas
to the State Statistician.
